Luis Suarez
Everyone has heard about Luis Suarez, the best striker in the Barclays Premier League right now. It doesn't matter if you like football or not, you will hear about him in the news. This season he has demonstrated that he is one of the best strikers in the world, and that is why every football club wants him in their team. This video contains some of his beautiful goals. He is my favourite athlete.

Luis Suarez is such a good striker, he has made very beautiful goals. I don't have a preferable football player, but if I have to say one, it would be Messi because he doesn't do only beautiful goals , he make very amazing strategies. He do very imaginative things with the ball.

ReplyDeleteMy own favourite athlete is probably the sailor Ben Ainslie, whom I first saw when watching the Sydney Olympics in the middle of the night. I wouldn't have thought that sailing could be so exciting, but I was on the edge of my seat. It was all to do with the points system, which meant that to win, he didn't have to win the final race but instead had to be within a certain number of places of his arch-rival, Robert Scheidt (whose surname sounds extremely funny in English). So the battle for gold was at the very back of the race, far behind the other boats, as Ainslie tacked back and forth in order to keep Scheidt behind him. Eventually Scheidt got past him and it was a nail-biting finish!
I later met Ainslie at the Oxford Union (the University of Oxford debating society) and I asked him his favourite ever sporting moment on the basis that the above was mine, and he said England's victory in the Rugby World Cup, which was a great moment too.
I've heard about Luis Suarez. My father and my brother are fanatics of football so I've heard about him so many times. My brother says that he is a very good football player.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of football players, but as Anne said before, I like a lot Lionel Messi. Apart from beeing good player, he does very good strategies to score goals.
I am embarrassed for saying this but... I don't know anything about sport so sorry but I can't comment nothing.

Yes I have heard about Luis Suarez and I also think that he is great but it is not my favourite. I don't have a favourite one.
