NFL vs rugby

Which is better, American football or rugby? American football is a copy of the original sport, which is the rugby. Rugby has been played for ages originally in Europe. It is thought that rugby is a sport played by animals, I mean, people who are clumsy and that sort of thing but, actually, it is said that people who play rugby are really polite and well-mannered. People might think that rugby is better than American football but in my opinion, if I had to choose I would definitely decide American football. American football is much more interesting than rugby because there are better tackles and there are more injuries because of the bravery of the game.

Bullying

The bullying is the one of most important problems that our society has and not only ours, it is a problem that affects people worldwide. Nevertheless, do you think that we have done something about it? 

No, absolutely not. There have been a lot of cases where people have ended up with different types of traumas depending on the to type of the bullying. For example, at the moment, it is really usual for girls to become anorexic because people call them fat, hippopotamus, whale and more synonyms. The people that calling them, have never asked themselves how much damage they are doing. This type of bullying is comon especially when we are children, but if we don't do something to stop it, in adolescence the bullying and the consecuences of it will be highest that we can imagine. 

In the following video you can see the istory of one girl that suffered bullying. We can't forget her. We can't do it because despite being a terrible istory, it learns the consecuence of the bullying and it is really important to make the people aware.

After watching it, I am not going to ask you what you think about bullying because I don't care. Ask yourself what can you do or what you are doing against it.

Problems in school? it is not your fault

Nowadays in Spanish schools there is a problem in the education system.

People only have to remember how to do something or learn something by heart.If you study the day before the exam in a period of two weeks you willl almost forget all you have studied for your culture exam or your social-science exam.

They only put a mark for how well you remember something not how well you know it. With this type of education you can't learn something for your whole life unless you study day by day what you do in class, which is something that is not required by your school. Most of times you can have better marks studying the day before the exam, in this way you will forget everything in a period of two weeks, than someone who has studied everything day by day and for months will remember what you have studied from the exam.

Favorite application

Snapchat is an application that nowadays a lot of people have. You can have it on your phone or your tablet, you can download it in an easy way and it is free. This application is for sending photos, videos, pictures, etc. When somebody send you a photo you have a limit of time to see it and can only do so once that limit of time is decide by the person who sends you the photo. The maximum time is 10 seconds and the minimum 1 second. When that time finishes you can't see that photo again.

Now, Snapchat has a chat, and you can also make videocalls. I love this application it is one of my favorites but we must use it carefully.

In this video we can see the best player in the world this year showing some of his abilities. He has scored 31 goals in this season in the BBVA League and he is drawing with Luis Suarez to win the gold boot. He has scored 16 goals in the Uefa Champions League and he has the best record ever. I hope he will win the 10th Champions League for Real Madrid. I think Real Madrid should win the Champions this year because of the fantastic season they have had. Do you think Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid deserve to win it? 

Fads

Nowadays, people have some fads, such as the New Balance, Victoria's, Eight Basque Surnames, etc.

You can buy all these fads, but now a wristband with some elastic bands is also a fad. These wristband are different from the others because you can make them in different ways and colours. All people can make them, old and young alike. It doesn't matter what age you are, you can make them without problem. Depending on which way you choose to make the wristband, it is different from the other ways. You can make them circular, with flowers etc. You can make them with forks, with fingers, with an instrument, etc.

However, it is not only a wristband. You can also make a rope, an animal such as a snake or a dog. You can also make unisex necklaces and rings.

The wristbands are cool my little sister has made a lot of them and she loves doing it. I have also made some of them and it is like a hobby and you can have fun with it. Do you like them? Have you made one? Which other fads do you like?

Luis Suarez

Everyone has heard about Luis Suarez, the best striker in the Barclays Premier League right now. It doesn't matter if you like football or not, you will hear about him in the news. This season he has demonstrated that he is one of the best strikers in the world, and that is why every football club wants him in their team. This video contains some of his beautiful goals. He is my favourite athlete.

Fast food

Nowadays, more and more people use to eat fast food or unhealthy food. Many of them don’t do any sport and, as a consequence of that, they look overweight or fat. In big cities, you can find a lot of McDonald’s, Burger King or KFC and all of them very near. In Spain, for example, if you want a hamburger in McDonald’s the biggest size is  medium. But in America, you can find small, medium, large and super size.

Last year, we saw a documentary that is very well-known in America called Super Size Me. It is about a mancalled Morgan Spurlock. This man ate McDonald’s food  for a period of 30 days only. He wanted to show us that McDonald’s food isn’t healthy and the bad things that it can cause. With this documental we can see clearly that a lot of American people buy junk food.

With all this I want to say that we know that this kind of food isn’t healthy, but isn’t it delicious? It is one thing to eat junk food every day but if we eat once a month it doesn’t matter. What do you think?

All people have played Simon says in their live. It's a very common and simple game that all of us used to play  and liked. But why do we do what Simon says? Why cannot it be someone else who tells us what to do? We really don't know it has always been this way.

Parodies

I have always been interested in parodies. But, what is a parody?

A parody is a kind humorous imitation of something. It could be a film, famous person, a book...anything. Recently many parodies have been made, and they have become very famous. Nowadays, almost all films and  musical videos have a parody. For example, here you have a parody of the blockbuster Catching Fire, the second part of the well-known film series "The Hunger Games".

I found this video really amusing. Although it is very simple, it makes you laugh, or at least smile. Sometimes the simplest things are the funniest.

I think that it is funny and entertaining to watch parodies, because sometimes the imitation is so good that you never forget the film, video or whatever the parody was about. It is said that sometimes the parody is more popular than what is being parodied. Many people get annoyed because of this. They say that the parodies decrease the parodied things reputation. But in my opinion, this is better than nothing. As is said many times, it is better to be talked badly about something than not at all, isn't it?
