You can buy all these fads, but now a wristband with some elastic bands is also a fad. These wristband are different from the others because you can make them in different ways and colours. All people can make them, old and young alike. It doesn't matter what age you are, you can make them without problem. Depending on which way you choose to make the wristband, it is different from the other ways. You can make them circular, with flowers etc. You can make them with forks, with fingers, with an instrument, etc.
However, it is not only a wristband. You can also make a rope, an animal such as a snake or a dog. You can also make unisex necklaces and rings.
The wristbands are cool my little sister has made a lot of them and she loves doing it. I have also made some of them and it is like a hobby and you can have fun with it. Do you like them? Have you made one? Which other fads do you like?
Everyday, my little brother does a lot of wristbands. I have to admit that I like it a lot and apart from that, it is a new way to entertain. I did two multicolour bracelets; one is circular and the other is plane, it is very easy to do. My brother knows more different ways of doing bracelets and he also knows to do minions, he has to teach me how to do because I like it a lot!

ReplyDeleteAt the moment I am on Navarre with my family and there are four little cousins and my sister, and they are all the time doing wristbands. Last night, my uncle put a video on Youtube and my sister did a snake wristsband!
I also like doing it, I think it's a good time to have fun. Nowasdays all the peolple wear them, even my physichs teacher!
Oh, I am really bored for seeing those bracelet. All the people have one. My mother have just started doing them and well, they are beautiful and you can make a lot and all of them can be different but I think that when something becomes popular it loses its charm. The people must be more original although is true that in some way with this bracelet you can be it.
ReplyDeleteI like wristbands too!! My cousin yesterday gave me one really beautiful and I love it. It is no plane or circle it is simple. I thought that it was dificult to do it but my cousin explained me and it is really easy!

ReplyDeleteBoys, it doesn't matter if you don't like wristbands: you can still comment on this craze as a phenomenon or any other. For example, when I was a child, collecting and swapping Panini stcikers was all the rage. Were they still popular when you were children?
ReplyDeletePersonally, I don't like having things around my wrist, and have never worn a watch for example. However, it's interesting to hear that people still like making things with their hands rather than only using technology. Like Naroa says, though, it's a fine balance between being creative and being swept up in a craze that everyone else is doing.
